3G on the Storm 2?

In the pictures I am seeing the 3G symbol, no 1EVX, can somebody verify this?

Yes...It is the 3G symbolism. No longer showing 1XEV for the 9550.

Okay, so why when I update the storms with this v5.0 software, they are still saying 1XEV.

yes, i picked mine up today and it has 3G. Wonder if it's gonna stay this way? I hope new OS releases keep the 3G.

My theory has been is VZW doesn't want to change any of it's existing documentation for the 9530.
