Blackberry Storm 2 now on sale with Verizon! - Discussion

We have been waiting for this day for a while. The past month or so has been filled of possible release dates for the Storm 2. We've seen many videos of the Storm 2 from Sal and images popping up everywhere. Vodafone users have been using the Storm 2 for a few days; now Verizon has opened their doors for the sale of Storm 2. Will it be another failure like the first Storm that was released last year? Or will the feedback be that of what RIM is hoping and praying for, as well as Verizon. If you can't wait till 8am to come around to get the Storm 2 from your Verizon store you can order it online now and get it next day delivery! i think i will wait for the phone and the other people that have money to toss out the window can tell everyone waiting like myself how it runs. I cant blow 279 dollars on a phone that could possibly be just as bad as the strom 1 was when it came out and come on people what new phone comes out that HAS no problems what so ever?!

is that a bogo i see lol...what a deal for some people that have 2 lines to update. i'm waiting a few months to purchase.

i went to best buy and they tell me storm 2 will be out tomorrow 10/28 then i went to verizon and the store manager tell me no idea when but not tomorrow

Me personnaly, The Moto Droid is my target phone. One of my close friends (sales rep at VZW), advised me that a VP of Verizon has the Droid already and Its SIK. I am eligible for NE2 and I will not waste it on S2 until I hear all I can possibly hear to convince me and as well as play around with the phone at a store. The droid is making a lot of noise right now and a lot of non biased report states that it destroying the Tmo's hottest 2 devices right now (my touch and oldie G1)..Choose wisely and be patient...my BBOS Compadres:)

I'm going to pony up regardless. I've been able to get my monies out of my previous devices so this decision is easy.
Plus this money has been saved up for a while.

I was going to talk the wife into adding a line and getting 2 but then if she likes it, or the fact that full price is only 539.99 its goign to be hard to justify the 179.99 for one and 175 etf

Just purchased my STORM 2 over the phone. Confirmed e-mail received and will get it tomorrow... :1244: I was going to wait, but lets face it WHY? I kind of had fun getting a new storm every other month when it caught snags. Verizon has proven that they will work with their customers. No FEAR here!!!
