What if I add a line, and then terminate it in 31 days. I would only be responsible for the 175 ETF the 30 Data and the price of the phone. Right? So Im estimating about 400 or free and clear for 600.

Brett you are the man... thank god for you and your ideas for bb forum. your site is a blessing to all who want to learn devices on their on with help. i have to wait till next week for the storm i added a line 1 month ago and i am using my old curve, called vzw and they said i had to pay retail for phone? if i pay 175 to etf can i still get the phone for new customer???

Correct! I did the math the other day $179 (phone) + $9.99 (add a line) + $30 (data) + $175 (ETF) = $393.99 if you cancel the added line after 31 days.

Also is showing in my zip code on the site. Still will wait a week or so to see initial reviews to decide if it worth jumping right into. I kinda want to wait until plazmic updates, I dont want to go with the stock theme for to long. Especially with .328 running so good, I'm really curious to see what the initial differences are and if its similar -or- night and day.

i added a line back in january to get the storm 1... if i dropped that line, added a new one to get the S2, could i cancel the data plan on the new line after 30 days and still keep the S2?

EDIT: obviously after transferring service for the S2 to my line...

yes but in ETF alone for canceling 2 lines your looking at 350 plus the phone at 179.99 thats 529.99.. you can buy full price for 539.99

I called customer service yesterday. Very nice representative. They agreed to give me 1 year pricing promotion ($349) and then I get the $100 rebate even though I was not eligible for upgrade until middle of next year.

I was nice and they were very nice in return. Ordered phone this morning and will have it Friday. Seems better than going through all the add and cancel of lines.:)

i wouldn't actually cancel both lines, just the data plan on the 2nd one. i would still pay the $9.99 for voice

I ordered mine last night, or rather this morning, at approximately 12:25 AM. Just received my confirmation email, showing that it has been picked up by Fedex, and will be delivered by 3:00 PM tomorrow. :)

i ordered mine at 415am EST time and all Ive gotten so far was sales confirmataion email. I billed it to account. Ive never ordered this way but when do I get my tracking number from fedex? The status on verizon says its processed though.
