Thread: S2 on VZW INFOMANAGER

Someone posting on crackberry has said the the S2 is now showing up in VZW Infomanager with an official release date of October 21. Can someone with access to vzw infomanager please confirm this? He said to search for it on there as it was not easy to find....

That post unfortunately is incorrect.

They have received accessories for the Storm 2 but nothing appears on their INFOMANAGER web page yet as to when it will be released or how much it will be...They haven't received their mock dummy either..As of right now there's no release date set.

As an FYI...VZW gets inventory shipment every Friday..and no Storm 2 was in their shipment today

The interesting thing is if you look at the bottom of the first page on that thread....CX is quoted saying

"From what I know, the OP is a legit guy. He has provided other info such as this in the past. I don't think he has any reason to lie."

It's just odd that he jumped in to say that. It's not like he posts THAT often and I would think he knows exactly when it will be released. Also, Salomondrin posted something on his Twitter to the effect of being 99% sure of a Storm arriving on Wednesday. Interesting....

Yeah I saw that and I have nothing but respect for CX...

I'm only reporting what we have heard from a very respectable source inside of big red. That being said, I hope everyone is wrong and Storm 2 is released tomorrow

why wouldnt verizon try to promote the storm2...nobody promotes anymore it seems....if it is next week or the week after verizon is not giving a date? verizon promoted last year...nothing yet...i dont see it happening next week...

Yeah I agree. Since we're not hearing much from Verizon, November seems likely still, but I'm hoping that Oct. 21st is true.

Hey J, from what I heard. Some VZW stores have already received dummy devices. Another thing, I thought it was Thursday they receive shipment?

Maybe some stores have but those in the western zone (California and Nevada) have not. Friday is shipment day, that's not to say that a special Odin delivery wouldn't come in on another day
