Okay, this to me, was a major flaw of the original Storm. The lack of a proximity sensor was a constant problem for me. I know there are third party apps but that should not have been the solution. Well Kevin over at CB has conducted a review of a production model Storm2 and yes it has a proximity sensor. Let the rejoicing begin. :hail: RIM has answered our prayers. You can read the entire review now.
A proximity sensor turns the screen to an off state when near the face during a phone call and puts back in an active state when moved away form the face.
