Thread: More Verizon Storm2 Promotional Material

Yesterday, we showed you a Verizon BOGO flyer showing the Storm2 and today Crackberry seems to have come across another Verizon promotional flyer. This flyer shows the Storm2 and the Tour side by side with no further detail or text. While it isn't giving us any information, all these flyers surfacing do make it seem that the release is coming quickly which makes many Blackberry addicts happy campers.

There is some speculation on this second image, which is just the bottom right corner of the flyer showing a code of BLKBN40X281009. While some might be looking at it may thinking it means October 28th is the release date or the date the flyer is supposed to be put up, could it just be that the image size 40x28 and the image was created on 1009?

isnt that the storm or have i not have had enough coffee? :lmao:

So that means the flyers will be going up by the end of October, so I'm assuming the phone will actually b available prob in the beginning of November...

Yea I realized that after i posted it up...i think i'm too eager to have the S2 come out lol. But wow, i didn't think anyone had time to even see my post...i tried to take it down as soon as possible..ur too quick laney..too quick:evil:

lol, its just the banner info in the bottom. I think everyone wants the S2 to come out so bad they are looking for any clues possible.

Even though the banner says 10/09, that doesn't necessarily mean they have to go up in Oct either. That is just info as to when the banner was made. Sorry folks, no release information in there. Just confirms that it is getting really close.

Yea I think most people have gotten to the point where they want the S2 to come out as soon as possible but with all the flyers and videos that have been circulating most have realized it's just indicating the phone will b out soon, but doesn't mean it's in October.. But some still r holding on to the "hope it's in October" lol...

Ya, I'm hoping for an october release, but I want to make sure that this phone is well put together and we are not stuck waiting for new OS's to leak to make this the phone it should have been.

yea I think VZW is trying to make sure of that too, that's y i wouldn't b surprised if the phone drops in November.

I just looked at the Wallpaper...i sure hope it doesn't come with that! lol

my understanding is that the STORM 2 is going to launch with VZW on 10/21. This comes from a very reliable source... waiting now to get pricing info, but as we already
are aware it will be BOGO... will post pricing info once I receive the info.

OK first this picture is from the vzw warehouse. second that date code at the bottom is the date the poster should be posted. which is the 10/28 so now we should still be receiveing the s2 on 10/25 or around that time. VZW will be getting pre shipments in the next week or so. mostly dummy phones and displays. Also for those that pre ordered it will get it so. Which are Employees first. so ave a good day now. You left out the VZW reps have begun to train on the Storm2, The call center reps also have begun. Also " S2 like software will be available for the Storm1 shortly after S2 launch". that means 5.0 is right around the corner

i new that and it has already been said with the video on you tube. about the training. :haha:

i talked to tech support last friday and they told her the date but all she could tell me was by the end of the month they will have it released
