Thread: Verizon BOGO Flyer Shows Storm2

Well if all of the other recent Storm 2 news didn't get you excited, this should. Apparently there is a Verizon BOGO flyer that shows the Storm2 front and center. Two Storm 2's for the price of one? It sounds too good to be true. But could just be another big sign that the Storm 2 launch is immanent. Let's hope there is official confirmation of release dates soon.

Why oh why do i have to be with sprint? My wife started workin there before they merged w/ nextel in Panama City Beach. I wish it was Verizon instead. We been w/ sprint ever since

Hmmmmm, wife has an upgrade avail. 2storm 2's would make me a happy man!!!!!!

I imagine with the expected release date just a month away that we will be seeing a lot more of this kind of thing. Good to see Big Red is gonna keep the BOGO going.

O wow, my 3rd line is available for upgrade and if they have this when the S2 comes out, u can bet i'm gonna b there to make sure my sis gets a BB so i can get the S2...i'm ready to move on from the S1 lol

Expected release date is before that. Looks like 12 days to me . The 25th unless there is a push or has been since i haven't asked lately

Don't think ill be one in line for the opening night but i noticed something in this flyer. Notice the SMS/MMS Icon. In older builds of the os the bubble is farther down and with 2 blue lines vs in this it is raised higher and has 3 white lines. For those of you who have seen @salomondrin's vid recently you'll see it there too. Might prove that the os and hardware build he shows in his recent vid might be the one big red goes with. Not 100% but just sayin.

just my opinion but i would guess the photo has nothing to do with current or past OS's...probably photo shopped.

Very Very Possible. But hey the whole ad could be fake too. It would take me about 20 mins to make something as simple as that n print it out. lol time will tell.

Man I hope not. For many peoples sake. Me I'm good but the 25th came from VZW inside corportate. No I don't work for them. Yes I do know a "Corporate Acct. rep." personally. That may be the most dissapointing news I heard tday :no:

I've heard too many conflicting reports saying that it isn't even in mass production yet. I'm sticking with November. But you never know, we didn't expect to get BBM 5 so soon either.

I thought the rumored date was October 25th also...I think i read it somewhere a few weeks back, with Vodafone getting it on the 15th...but hey I have no agents, ninjas or buddies in VZW, but I do have lol

Yeah, even if I want it as soon as possible, I think the S2 will be out in november

I read the rumors too, but this is a guy inside. That's not to say it won't get pushed or hasn't. Also as for the mass porduction. We are already seeing verizion and Vodafone branded S2's. The newest internal build of .293 too. I think it's alot closer than November. It may even well be "on the floor" in the warehouse already. All with .287 on them.

I wouldn't b surprised if it came out in November. I can imagine VZW making sure everything is correct, they dont' want to have another mark against them like they did with the first Storm

i wonder if they are gonna give US Storm1 owners a break...?
