Thread: BlackBerry Storm 2 on Vodafone?

Floating around in cyberspace are images of a Vodafone branded Storm 2. It has been reported Vodafone would be receiving the device first, but at this point in the game it's anyone's guess. Either way, it's a great weekend when we have more Storm 2 photos to drool over!

It would be an even BETTER weekend if we had a 5.0.0.288 leak for the Storm 1 to play around with.....

Does anyone know if this phone will work better on att that the Storm 1?

I don't think anyone really knows whether it will work better than the Storm 1 PERIOD! :laugh2:

True, it worked great with os 4.7.0.75 but I want 5.0, which sucks for big EDGE on the 9530!

Look at that SMS icon that means a high build will release with the device. I'm hoping within one week or so we all can get this OS .28x or at least the cods. Hybrid Anyone?!...

Probably won't see this this month. Probably next month. Now I wonder what OS it's gonna run. I think one was running .289, don't know if it was branded or not though.

It's up in the air for me. I've heard the 15th and 19th of this month, then I've heard it'll be surprising to see it launch in October.

Wow, if that article is true does this mean Vodafone will b releasing it on October 15th like it's rumored to?!?! and if that's the case does that mean Verizon will have it by October 25th?!?!? O man.. wat a month!!!

We can only hope so! It's all looking rather promising at the moment. It's a shame I have so long to go on my current contract!

Yea a lot of people are in the same situation. Lucky for me, I used my 2nd line to upgrade and by dec my line will b eligible for upgrade. So not too long of a wait, but if i didn't have multiple lines on the account I would b in the same situation as most people. If VZW would do trade in, with a discounted price at least, i'm sure a lot of people would trade in the S1...if only VZW..if only

I may well shell out for the S2 - just as the S1 starts getting good! I highly doubt Vodafone UK's commitment to its customers, though. Discounted before upgrade date? Nah...
