BlackBerry Storm 2 hitting Verizon Wireless around October 25th?

looks like the guys at BGR have lots of ninjas. looks like best Buy Is going to be selling the Storm 2 at Best Buy on October 25. You no ill be there waiting

One of our ninjas just blessed us with a product inventory shot from Best Buy. It shows that Best Buy locations will be getting BlackBerry Storm 2 dummy units starting October 25th. Why is that important? Well, as it was explained to us, actual retail units start to come in a little bit before or a little bit after those dummy models hit.
Have the hunger for one more piece of Storm 2 info? Fine. We’ve also been told the unit will retail for $599 at Best Buy locations with no service agreement.

Seeing it in the system as the 25th usually doesn't mean too much. It's a good start.

I would still think November. Until they make an actual announcement, I am not believing anything. My heart has been broken too many times.

Inside info from RIM i work in R&D for the North America Div For Rim Verizon cant release untill Nov 5.. Long story short so all Verizon location's can have the Pleanty of 9550's stock. Also if you wait till Late December there will be three color options..

Good to see though that it will be out before Christmas, plenty of time to see how it works before I am due to upgrade in January.

black, Drk blue and if you remeber the "Pink" they used on 8330's.......

Also the drk blue is the same shade as the sprint 8330m All colors will be sold by verizon...

true but the article did elude to it being released shortly thereafter. As you know people fixate on these dates so when they see October 25th people choose to make their own reality of it.

Great job to everybody who has had their share of input on this one. Everybody here at

really does a great job and works well together. It is one of the reasons why this has quickly become my favorite Blackberry website, among other reasons. I myself don't need a phone in any color other than black. I would really like this like... now. But like all good things they are worth the wait. I think I may end up picking up a Tour in the next coming weeks and giving that a try before the Storm 9550 releases. I have a Storm 9530 now and I can honestly say that the longer I have had it and the more things that have become available for it and the more that the system software has been refined, the more I like it. It is kind of like a fine wine or a cougar, only getting better with age and more experience. That being said, with the release of the Storm 2 and the 8539, I wish I could get all three, including the 9630 and that way I could just change devices like I would change underwear. Except I might change my device more than I change my boxers. :09: jk I am not a dirt ball :haha: I just hate having to wait. :aargh4: the anticipation is just killing me :bigeyes2: I am the type of person who wants everything yesterday and waiting is almost as bad as having my toenails pulled out with a pair of rusty tweezers. Well I am sure I will be back to give some more input and in site into this topic, as I have been patiently, as patiently as I possibly can be, waiting for this device. And it is late and my eyes feel like they are starting to fail me...

Thank you for all the info and I certainly recognize the risks that you have taken to supply this info.

Besides the OS, what are the differences between my 9530 and the Storm2? Wifi? any other features? Sorry for the uninformed NOOB questions.

Hello Eveyone. Im a newbie here and just wanna say Hi and that Im really excited for this phone to come out. I'm hopeing to have it on release day but i just got my Storm 1 about a month and a half ago. I hope they have some sort of swap out discount if you have a Storm already. We will just have to wait and see and atleast its not that long of a wait.
