Impressions of 126.96.36.199 for 9550!!!
Our friend Kevin over at CB provided some more info on his personal impressions of 9550 or our long awaited ODIN.
Here are the screenies of 188.8.131.52 and a mysterious app from VZW, called CityID.
Kevin is lucky to play with one of those nice Odins while we here wait and wait... His impressions are that people with 9530, who are running 184.108.40.206 will notice improvements in Odin or 9550, but not as significant as we may think. Odin has several advantages, which include:
*processor feels faster
*and I will add, hardware improvements
Other than those, Odin will not be a knock of shocker.
In my personal opinion, I still want it just for hardware improvements and memory. Kevin is also working on making another Odin tease video....so we'll what that will be. But now back to real world...the wait continues...

Nice find. Not sure if being serious about the city id. City id isnt a mysterious app. It is app that displays the city and state of the incoming phone number on your phone and also provide more info to help customers recognize unknown numbers. Its 1.99 a month or 34.99 for unlimited use. Just in case you werent joking. If you were sorry lol
Ha it's the first I ever heard of that app but then I again I don't really concern myself with where incoming phone calls originate from. Kind of sounds like a rip off to me, but that's just my opinion.

yea not all that great. It comes on all of the new verizon dumbphones as a trial app. Its really a waste of money because it just identifies the location of the caller by their area code and prefix so it isn't even gps based.
