    A few Storm 2 'rumors'





    I spoke with the BlackberryOS Ninja a bit today and he gave me a little information about the Storm 2. Now this information can not be 100% confirmed so that is why I am sticking with it being a rumor for now.

    He told me that the Storm 2 will be released with 5.0.0.200. The recent videos that have been showing the Storm 2 in action show the OS 5.0.0.202. When asked about this I was told that .202 has some bugs in it regarding the internet and that as of now (Verizon) has settled on 5.0.0.200 as an OS for the phone (unless they can get a stable OS before the release). Supposedly, Verizon 'testers' just got .208 to play around with.

    I hope that they do find a stable OS, otherwise this will be much like the storm 1. Now if I could just get one in my hands to test on I would let everyone know.

    with all my experienced with storm 1 !( mine from OS 4.7 0 65 ) Hope full RIM will tested it throughout OS before launching to the market ...
    one more time being storm's testers , these thought killing me ..Ha....Ha .....
    so excited waiting to get my hand on it ! ..........

    It's not getting released with .200...atleast I highly doubt it....
    .200 is a GC, however, all handheld departments have to agree that this is acceptable...

    No, I have heard from a very reliable source that it is indeed NOT and flamethrower. It's a blow dryer.

    It's amazing how some of these rumors get blown up out of proportion.:bigeyes:
