Thanks Touch for the update. Since we know VZW are laggers, I wonder if the much rumored Telus, September 15th Storm 2 release date, holds more water now??

I've been told October 18th a while back. So I'm gonna say October on time and November delay.

And Josh, that September 15th advertising from Telus in the theraters isn't for a phone or service. This is from an internal email.

Think about how long it took them to announce the Tour 9630. When we heard the first announcement of that device how long did it take for them to actually release the device?

So within the next week or so if September 15th is right (which is within three weeks three days to be exact) we should hear somethin' right?!

I hope so for people that don't have the device but, I doubt it BIG RED wouldn't like that... :no:

As I posted a month or so ago, Vodafone is planning on an October launch. Would stand to reason the launches of sister companies would be fairly close together.

Ahh, okay. I was just clarifying it isn't for the 9550 if that's what someone thought that advertising meant.

You very well could be right about that Touch. No doubt VZW it took a long time to release the device once it was announced. And yes a Telus launch weeks before VZW would certainly not make them happy. But then again, when did another carrier care what the other one thought lol.

Yeah its gonna be hard to come up with the money to upgrade that early. Maybe they will push it back to November.
