Anyone heard anything about whether it's be the same camera? Going up to 5mp sure would be a nice!

Sure would be a nice differentiator from the competition to offer more than 3.2.

This is true...but given the 3GS and other new competitors in the market and RIMM's increased emphasis on the consumer space, why not throw a little gasoline on the competitive fire for blackberries?

Release date

Just got off the phone to Vodafone here in Australia. They said the Storm 2 will be released in the US in September and in Australia first week of October.

I'm ready as well, however wouldn't it make sense for VZ to send out an early announcement email w. pre-order news? Seems odd that they'd just pop up in the stores in 2 weeks....not that I'd mind since a store is close to my office.:cool2:
