Thread: Storm 2 Getting Closer To Release?!

So reports are saying, that the Storm 2 may be releasing sooner then we may have thought! Vodafone (UK) is anticipating an October release date for the Storm 2, while Verizon (US) is still on track with their end of November release date. While these dates are still a mere speculation, we now hope to have some idea of the time frame involved with the release of these devices, and something to look forward to for all those that loved the storm so dearly, and just wanted a little something extra from it...

Does Verizon have too much inventory of Storm 1 in disti stock or will they do another major push like BOGO to move inventory? I still hold out for at least allowing Storm1 users to upgrade to Storm2 and move their contracts out a year.

cant wait... getting anxious to get a blackberry but have been holing out until S2 is released. but kinda getting upset with the limited functionality of my dumb phone currently and almost break down when im in walmart and get the curve since its only 8.88 with new 2 year, just to have a cheap bb. but i remind myself that i really want a touchscreen.... ugh anyways hope this comes out sooner rather than later

You'll be very happy that you waited. It'll be A LOT better than the current Storm as well as the Curve.

The memory and screen updates show RIM is on the right path. I will be getting the S2.

I sure hope Verizon gets it in September...my NE2 was up 7/21 and I am dying to get a Storm 2.
