Hello House,
kindly help in profering a solution to this problem. After downloading a software from my bb's apps world, i tried installing it on my storm 2 (9550). During the process of installation, the phone went off, and ever since then, it has never been on. I have tried flashing and reloading it, but the problem still persists.
Please advise me on what to do

Did you try to remove the battery, connect the USB cable, run the Loader.exe file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader (If you use Windows)?
Please note that with this procedure you should have an OS installed on your computer before preceding.
Thank you for your reply. I removed the battery and connected with my usb but didn't come up. The only thing i didn't do was to run the loader.exe file. For me to run the loader.exe, do i need to connect by bb to my computer, then run it, or how?Quote:

Also, here is the latest BlackBerry Desktop Manager v6.1 for PC once both are downloaded and installed, look for the vendor.xml file(s) for the above OS5.0.0.1082, then plug in your BlackBerry Storm 9550 via USB to your PC, wait for Desktop Manager to find your device, and you're now good to upgrade.
