Thread: black screen on my blackberry storm 2

i m confused some time my storm 2 goes black screen and some time its works ...but i m to much tensed about my set ....so please help me out to solve this problem.thank you

Hello meet5, sounds like you could be having a hardware issue. How often does it happen?

Have you tried performing a battery pull restart?

ya i pulled out my battery several time and i wipe out by bbsak and instal os as well but also i am having the problem.... but when i press back of my set hardly my display work for some time and after a while i got same problem ........what shoul i do is it because of screen problem or of mother board....please help me out .....

I hate to say it but you may have bricked phone. If your phone is not under warranty it may be time for a replacement.

Yes, sounds like a hardware issue. I've heard of screens going out before. Could be a number of things. As Ice suggests, I'd check for warranty.

I suppose you could take it into a phone repair shop and see if they'll check it for you. Some places will check it for free to see the issue. You'll have to see if there are issues and how much it may cost to fix the issue. It may not be worth it to you depending on the cost. Good luck. Let us know what comes of this.
