I have changed my 9550 os to hybrid os. I have failed and trying to restore to original os. However, I could not find my blackberry map. I have tried to download from blackberry website, still I could not get the icon on the main menu. Could anyone please help me.......
Just to be able to solve your problem best can you clarify the following things:
- Did you fail to remove the hybrid OS after you installed it?
- Did you succeed in downloading and installing blackberry maps?
- Did you check to see if blackberry maps is installed, you can do this by: options > advanced options > applications and looking for blackberry maps. If you can't find it please install it using desktop manager.
If you need more assistance don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks for your reply. Well, for the first question, I have changed back the os to the original or non hybrid os. Then I have already install the blackberry map on my 9550. However, the icon for blackberry map was not appeared on the main menu.
I hope this information can help you to solve my problem.
Thank you again.
Check if BlackBerry Maps is installed. Go to Options/Applications and check if BlackBerry Maps is there, or maybe under the Add-On submenu.
