Thread: Help, my Storm2 keeps rebooting...:( after power failure during updating OS.

Help...previously, I tried to update my Storm 2 OS thru BDM 6, but upon downloading the modules suddenly my PC's power was down, I unplugged the Storm2 from my PC and then I found it keeps rebooting till now. My Storm2 becomes unuseable....any advice from the expert here? Thank you....

Did you try plugging in the phone to computer once power came back on?

After a while I did plug the phone back to PC and start updating, during the modules download up to no.310, an error massage appears mentioning that I don't have internet connection whereas the internet is fine, and the process stop there.

Is there any BB applications that allow me to start all the installation process from the scratch?

Try doing a full wipe of the device with BBSACK and after that install the OS using app loader or BDM. I take you made a backup prior to the update process.

Try to load any original os from loader, hope this info will help.

Here is the site to download BBSAK. Use BB desktop and backup your device BEFORE wiping it using BBSAK. Once it's wiped you can install any OS you'd like using the directions here: http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/b...es-videos.html

You choose the OS you'd like from here:9550 Storm 2 - Downloads - BlackBerry Forums at BlackBerryOS.com or here: 9550/9520 Hybrids

Download the OS you want to your computer then you can download it to your Storm2 using the how-to-upgrade link above.
