Some days ago I dropped my Storm 2 and it fell on a stone. When I picked it up I saw the display was broken. But I realy was suprised, when I saw that I can use it "normaly"... watch the video below...

I've had this spidering crack in my screen for over a year now with no problems either. It started as a speck in my screen that just spread. Not as bad as yours but it is impressive the thing still works. Mine had also survived a whole bottle of champaign being poured on it a few months back.LoL. After that I've had no worries when using my Storm in the rain, though I have a 9530. I wouldn't suggest doing that but I'm ready for a replacement. After hearing people say, "Oh my gosh, your screens broken" for over a year, its probably time.

yeah 0uch! Any storm2 LCD/digi. will work on ebay titled for the 9550.. i know this for sure. you can really count on me... DO NOT buy the digi. its self. its extemely is so complex i would not recommend it, ive went threw 2 spanking brand new digi. trying to assembly it an failed badly, But i know how too now. i wished i would have recorded myself doing it, since their is no youtube video. But SOON i will upload one, BUT ONE thing for sure NEVER USE super glue no matter how little you use NEVER!!! instead double sided cell phone tape works but it has to be ultra thin, that can be cut out into the form of the LCD frame!
replaced mine too..... like the above poster said buy the lcd&digi together.... its worth the extra 50 bucks. bought the digi first never stay stuck to the lcd for very long
