The Storm 2 has those same buttons, but they are integrated into the screen in the same bottom position. The Storm 1 which has those four buttons just below the screen.
Storm 2 is definitely a step up from the Storm 1. The most noticeable differences are texting is easier as the screen is more responsive, and more memory for apps.
The RIM BlackBerry Storm 2 adds Wi-Fi, more memory, and an updated operating system that brings a number of feature and user interface enhancements. The revamped SurePress touch screen allows for more precision, key rollover, and limited multitouch capabilities.
On a negative note BlackBerry browser isn't on par with the competition. While improved, the touch screen still takes some acclimation.
