Hi!!
You must be using BB with WiFI capability.
If yes, pl tell me - once I enable data plan, when I am in WiFi zone, How do I ensure that wifi is used for data & not my EVDO connection?
If I switch off data, then wifi also doesn;t work.
If Data is ON, I am not sure if wifi is being used or expensive data ???

It should be in your WiFi settings. Go to connections and make sure your WiFi box is checked off. As long as WiFi is enabled then as soon as your phone recognizes a recently visited LAN it will auto connect. If you are near a LAN that you have never connected to before, you will need to manually connect it for the first time.Quote:

I can;t swich off Mobi NW as then I will miss I/C calls.
If I just switch-off Data, then wifi also stops working.
So how do I ensure that I only use WiFi when at home wifi or in a wifi zone.
if you have wifi on, doesnt matter if you have mobile network on, the phone will default to wifi if present for browser, there are some applications that use wifi (when present) over BIS, should be no problems keeping network on while using wifi
As far as I know. I only use wifi when it is connected. I have it at home too. I think when you connected to wifi it will only use wifi.Quote:
