Haha, not at all, I dread the time it takes, but of course it may help haha.

Well...I thank you for all your efforts MePascal,
The device is still experiencing the same issues as I stated above and experienced no change from the loading of a new copy of DM..
I have come to the conclusion that its my computer...I may possibly need to reload the drivers and see if that does anything...
But again, thanks so much for your time and effort!
That's easy enough.
Plug in your Berry to the PC.
You could right click on the My Computer icon and select properties.
You should now see the System Properties screen.
From here select the Hardware tab along the top. Once you have selected Hardware, you will then need to select Device Manager.
From the Device Manager Screen scroll all the way to the bottom and locate the Universal serial bus controllers.
Expand this selection and right click onto the BlackBerry Smartphone heading.
Now select uninstall and verify your selection.
From this point disconnect your Berry from the PC. Now reconnect the Berry via the sync cable to the PC and the configuration should populate automatically.
okay, i did those steps
and i'ce tried opening DM and go to application loader, but still shows same signs of the issue

How about one more thing markv?
Would you happen to have access to another PC? Preferably one with running Windows XP.
Hi there MePascal, sorry for the late response, I had to run for a family members birthday party...
As you suggested I do have another PC, a DeLL desktop running Windows XP, and it performs all of my blackberry needs flawlessly.
I was just hoping that I may be able to fix the issue on this wretched thing, haha.
But no worries...it's not 'too' hard for me to run upstairs or across the hallway every time a new OS comes out hahaha.
Again, thank you so much for your effort in helping me with this issue!!
Well, then markv...
Sounds like we have pinpointed your problem to being the PC running Windows 7.
I have seen that OS play havoc with other operations as well.
Just goes to show that XP is still a workhorse.
We'll see you around the Forums. :fing02:
