When is RIM going to fix bluetooth volume in 5.0?

Has anyone heard if RIM is working on a fix for the 5.0+ bluetooth volume issue? I really miss my bluetooth for music and calls! The calls sound fine, but the music is so low it's not worth it. I have an ancient Jabra that works great (if it has an OS that plays nice with it). I even purchased a newer bluetooth and it was no better, so I have given up on the 5.0+ OS. I have also loaded just about every bluetooth cod file on the offchance that there is one that does work! (wasted a lot of hours doing this)

The bb headset that comes with bb's works great for music and calls, but they fall out of my ears! :aargh4: If RIM can get the wired headset to work great with 5.0, why can't they get the bluetooth to work well with calls AND music?

Jlevey, I haven't seen this mentioned lately, do you have any updated info to share? :rolleyes:

I am using a 230 BT COD presently. Still not where I'd like it to be but it seems IMHO to be better than the newer ones. My $0.02.

Thanks I did try the 230 cod it was low volume in calls and music. I have tried just about all the 5.0 cods they all are really low in volume compared to the 4.7 cods.

Would it be possible to load a 4.7 COD on a 5.0 OS?

Update:

The short answer is no. I gave it a try and got some funky results. All my email disappeared, BBM icon disappeared. A number of uncaught exceptions.

I also tried many of the 4.7 bluetooth cod's, I lost the bluetooth option altogether with these! :eek: I don't remember which 4.7 os, but there was one bluetooth cod which was awesome for everything, that's the one I want. I saw earlier today that someone over at BBH was going to try the .624 cod for the Tour and post the findings. RIM has fixed many things, but this is the one I want!!!!!!!
