Is there a way to save your BB address book to your SIM card?

Yes there is. However, only one contact at a time. Unfortunately there is no other way to copy contacts to your SIM card. To do so, you will need to go to your address book, view each contact, and as you view each contact, move your cursor to the phone number field. Once there, press menu and choose "Copy to SIM Phonebook." Again, you will have to do this for each contact.

Not worth it at all IMO. Just create custom backup files using DM of the address book only.
