I think I am. I've had too many problems with my S1 & S2 and think I'll at least give it a 30 day trial run....

I love my S2, but I must admit that android os looks better and better as they move along. Blackberry is...I don't know how to describe BB. I've tried other phones and always found myself back with BB. I will give BB till the end of the year for improvement. If nothing happens, I will force my BB self to join the android people. Hopefully htc makes a full qwerty incredible by then.

I will hold back and monitor the feedback by the users of the incredible for a couple months.. Since 6.0 is rumored to be released very soon, I will stall the Droid "INCREDIBLE" jump for now. I've already had the pleasure to play with it for about 20 mins and OMG..Its BLAZING fast . the 8meg camera is OMG..the 7 home screens is OMG..There's one really cool feature that I was impressed with; say you're on the main screen and you're not sure which one of the 6 other screens (apps) you want to go to, with the pinch action, ALL the screens will appear and you click on the one you want to go to. If you change your mind again, do the same motion again..I must say I do love my S2 and if RIM steps up their game(in a positive manner) w/a new OS or web kit, I will not leave BB...
Not me !!
I believe that RIM is reading the "message on the wall" and I am excited on what will show up at WES.
Love my BB !!!

I must admit I've been looking, but my S2 at 607 with RJ's NU Simplicity is running so darn good, I just don't know if the Incredible will pull me away. I think I'm going to take Prince Jah's approach and wait and see. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Right now, it ain't broke.
I'm really happy with my S1 on Lyricidal's latest (now 643). It does all I need with 2 exceptions: the browser will always be slow on this OS and the blue tooth connection never seems to work well in my car. I'm not that bothered by the former but the latter gets very frustrating. Those 2 concerns and the intrigue factor have led me to pre-order the incredible. not sure if I will like all the bells and whistles that come with it but then might never look back....Then if they throw OS 6 (?) into the mix - might be an interesting week.

The specs are impressive, but I will not be leaving for the droid...I want to see what comes out of the show!
Click the Like button to thank me.
RetiredAdministrator--I never try anything, I just do it.....Wanna try me?--
I don't believe the incredible is a world capable phone, so for some of us at least that makes it a no-go..
I am going to make the leap to the HTC Droid as soon as I can. I wish the Iphone would hit Verizon, because that would be all she wrote!mfg:

Our son has the S1 and I'm getting him an Incredible--it sounds very cool. He uses gmail.
I have an S2. My issue, from what I've read on the forums, is that POP3 email is a royal PIA and general no-go with Android, and I'm tied to POP3 (business), and timely and consistent messaging is critical to me.
And, I'm really liking my S2 with .607 (I don't use BBM so don't have the keyboard issue).
Android 2.1 does a MUCH better job with POP3 mail. It's still a pull system but you can do one of two things. You can forward it to your gmail account for full push email support or you can set it so that it pulls in your messages every 5 minutes (or whatever time interval that you pick but I think 5 minutes is the shortest interval). However the more frequently it tries to pull in your email the more it will affect your battery life.
Thanks.
Not to pull this way OT, but I've read about issues where read emails keep re-appearing in the inbox, etc., with Android.
I needed to do a little bit of "gymnastics" with our ISP for my POP3 so that mail went both to my laptop inbox and my BB inbox (had them "push" / redirect to my xxx@vzw.blackberry.net email address all incoming email with bcc on all sent emails from laptop or BB), but it's dialed in very well now.
I'll try POP3 on my son's Incredible when he gets it in a couple weeks--he's got law school finals the next two weeks and he doesn't want the distraction of a new toy...er, phone.
