OS 5.0.0.517 for the 9550 Findings & Fixes

Well look at this, the BlackBerry Storm 2 gets an official OS update. At the same time you should have known it was not from Verizon. This one comes from Sask Tel and is version 5.0.0.517. I only wonder how long before Verizon starts coming out with any OS updates.

you're right. There hasn't been any differences in a while in these os's like there used to be. Not expecting much.

I kind of feel the same way, but I'm not doing anything better at the moment....so why not.

its been a while since i downloaded another carrier's OS and attempt to put it on a Verizon phone....anything special i gotta do besides delete vendor.xml?

Throw the phone at the wall and laugh at Verizon with your evil voice. haha, jk. I would actually use BBSAK. I never had a problem with loading OS's until recently and could not get any to load. Deleting the vendor or prior OS's did not work but BBSAK loads it up so damn quickly!
