I came from 320 so excuse me if this was in another leak but I love the new lock feature. When you hit lock it instantly locks the screen and when you unlock it comes right back to the place you locked from. No more lock screen as far as I can tell.

A bit OT--I've had very good luck wiping and backing up / restoring 3rd part apps with Blackberry Master Control Program. FWIW.

Been working good here. Typing lag compared to .451 is better but not perfect. memory hasn't moved a bit since 3rd battery pull last night. Browser seems faster but it is still nothing to jump up and down for. GPS works great, super fast. Download speeds are higher than ever almost 2100kb, Upload speed is 960k. Battery life is the same so far. All 3rd party apps playing nice with the phone. I guess so far so good.

Install was fairly quick and painless. Have noticed it performs somewhat faster and works well with Meterberry, Berrybuzz and Berrymail. The jury is still out on the battery life.

Did anyone have an issue with the Keyboard not working?

    EDIT: Battery Pull Fixed that
EDIT II: Visual Voice Mail seems to have a sync issue...

No issues so far! My battery life is starting to settle down. I'm at 1.2% avg discharge right now (i've been twitter'ing like a mad man this morning!!!!).

Browser seems really stable and responsive! No GPS issues here! Poynt, Google Maps, and Ubertwitter utilize the internal GPS just find. No lag in locking up a position.

I have not experienced any typing lag just yet. I like the fact that the blue key indicator is a little bigger. Seems to radiate a bigger than previous leaked (and hybrid) OS's.

Transition from landscape to portrait is not instant. Either I'm really impatient or that half second transition is just too much, hahaha. I think it's fine but I wish it could be a bit quicker to respond.

All in all, I'm a happy camper with this release!

    Just my two cents! Cheers!

Seems like a good build so far. The browser does actually seem a little faster. One big thing I noticed is that I have GTalk as one of my first 4 icons on my home screen. Before, it would say I was connected, but the little color dot would be greyed out, like I was diconnected. Only when I would switch to the next screen with all the icons would it turn green. Now its green on the main screen. I know, I know kinda silly, but it used to drive me crazy.

If you were coming from .320, that was an issue within that OS. Later leaked OS's fixed that.

But glad to see you agree that this build is a pretty good improvement overall!

Also loaded up last night. Backed up data and 3rd party programs, then wipe of phone and then restore of data but fresh loads of all 3rd party programs. Didn't want to load everything back and decided to start fresh.

Battery was down to 20% by lunch. Since this is the first day, I don't think it's the OS, as I was noticing a fast drain just the day before, so I may have upgraded a wee bit too soon. I needed to find out why the battery was going so fast first. Well the silver lining is there are fewer programs that could be the problem.

I'm running some test now to see if I can narrow it down, but will have to wait on battery life performance eval on the OS itself until I find the bad guy.:aargh4:

Memory is rock solid as is performance, but neither are any good if you keep running out of battery every two hours. (over exaggeration intended)

I cant say any thing bad about this OS, its been running great for me. The only thing is that I have not had to work since I loaded it so I don't have full confidence in the battery life.
