BBSAK is the thing to use --- I can backup my apps with it but i can restore anymore with it --- its weird. ?? anyway, i just install the cods with bbsak instead

When in a call, I can place the device up to my face and the screen will go blank(black out) and once I remove the device from my face the screen will activate the call screen.
This hasn't work in some time.

Downloading at a blazing 8 to 13 KB/second.Guess words out huh lol. Hope it's worth it. Gonna put it on my 2nd replacement before I activate it.

Found an Enhanced GMail Plug-In Option in the Message Options selection.

Honestly. I'd rather see updates to Facebook, Official Twitter App, Updates to BBM and Webkit Browser rather than these many insignificant OS updates. Not saying the OS updates do not change anything but I mean come on. I'd rather get a Gold Code OS and then see nothing more than updates to the root core programs as BIS, BES, Webkit Browser, BBM, Messaging etc....

Easy load. Seems to be working very well. Speedtest showed greater speeds than previous radios or hybrids. Everything feels very good with this build.

yup and if it doesnt light up just touch dont click and it will come on instantly

Up and running. Looks pretty good. Still playing around though.

Message icons work beside messages and SMS
When typing the blue "glow" behind the icons you are focused on now extends up into the screen. Hard to explain. Small cosmetic differences.

Up and running too...just started exploring. Easy load.

quick question.....i cant load this on my Mac can I?

The lock and unlock speed is lightning fast. Happy so far.

I have noticed a few cosmetic differences too. they are hard to explain. screen click feels a little better and less typing lag than on 451. Seems solid so far.

Loaded the java to My 9530. Sweet!!!! In bb heaven. Let's hope the memory and bat life holds up.

A little confuse...can this be installed on verizon? is the only way through BBSK? if so can someone tell how using BBSK?mfg:

You can install this on Verizon, just delete vendor.xml.

What is being referred to in the post you saw was backing up 3rd party apps. BBSAK stands for "BB swiss army knife".

After long long time, there was update os for 9550, so I could not resist myself . Downloaded timmeditaely and installed .517 today morning. OS is very stable. Radio sems to be much better. Clicking on screen has been improved a lot compare to .451. Let me check whether screen still freezes after long duration calls or has it been addressed in this build. I have been noticing that whenever I used to have long duration (something like more than 5 min), screen use to be freezed for some time (1-2 min) and then it becomes normal.
