Thread: Storm 2 UMA on T-mobile

Hello,
I have been searching for the answer to this but I can't not seem to find how to get UMA working on my S2 with Tmob.

Any help or point in the right direction would be great!

I'm fairly certain you won't be able to do as the Storm 2 doesn't have any such code to support UMA.

Sunkast is right.. the storm 2 does NOT have UMA support

I have heard rumors that tmobile could release service books to get it to work. And then I've heard that there are two certificates that could be downloaded and a password to get it to work. Any thoughts?

I need to find more information on this, but I am fairly sure UMA support is hard coded into the device, not a service book or OTA update.

I think you are right... I was thinking it took a different Chip but i might just be a dumbass lmao

Question then. It may not have UMA but does it still have WiFI support for data?
