What exactly is this recall fixing? I haven't had much of a problem with the screen aside from the screen being difficult to press during a call. can anyone elaborate? I just wanna see if its with the trouble of getting a new s2 and getting all new licenses for my apps

the top of my screen is dipped in, I wonder if these replacements are perfectly leveled

I had the "dot"...not the date.
My VZW rep went over and above....called some "big-wig" to confirm that the Green Dot is the indicator....and if the date is after 2/25/2010 the fix is built in and no Green Dot....of course take that for what it's worth...but she sounded convincing..:phone:

Well I got mine today and yes it had the green dot and 01142010 date, and IT WAS STRAIGHT GARBAGE. The screen was clicking like it was on steroids, and yes I caught FedEx and dumped off on them to return that mess. The tech said keep sending them back until I get the right one, whatever dude
I think I'll wait a couple more weeks to a month before I get my replacement.
Well, four hours with the replacement and I think my thumbs are in severe pain from the screen.

Ii just got mine. It has the green dot. I'm not sure where to look for the date, but compared to my old S2, It's a world of difference. It seems to be a little stiffer but not bad enough to return.
All that exercise !! But just think what great shape you...errr...your thumbs will be in soon !! :laugh2:Quote:

Has the screen loosened up a little for you? I could barely get through an email yesterday w/o thumb cramps. Maybe the silocon they added does firm the screen?
