Thread: PC won't reload an OS to my BlackBerry

Was installing Seanren's V6 over .436 and got the following message on my phone:

Reload Software: 507

Phone is stuck on this...can't do anything with it...please help!

Have you tried to load the software again? that is the screen you get when yhou wipe your device

Sure did...gets stuck when the computer is trying to communicate with the phone.

I just finished loading .451 onto my computer....gonna try to load that.

OK. You deleted the vendor.xml and all that good stuff right?

No, I had not deleted it, but I just did and it's doing the same thing...when the app loader tries to connect with it, I get the following message:

"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk7\DR21"

It seems that the computer cannot detect the phone at all...no matter if I use the apploader or DM.

Well, nothing is working...computer can't detect my phone. Come on, guys...need help here. I have everything on my phone.

It sounds like its the usb cable... Make sure the connection are good...

Highly doubt it...was working fine just before I attempted to load Seanren's V6.

What OS do you have on your computer???

How many OS's do you have loaded on the PC? Try unplugging your phone, remove your battery, and then plug your phone back into the USB Then put the battery back in

Your phone isn't showing up in your different drives? You can disconnect the phone and see if the driver will grab it when its reconnected... Disconnect and restart computer! Well try those! Ill do some diggin!

Nepperz... If your still monitoring this thread? You wanna grab the driver crack link?

Not working, Jason. I've rebooted the computer, disconnected the phone, reconnected the phone.

When I start up the DM, the first thing it states is that there is no profile on the computer...not sure what that is all about.

With the apploader, it won't connect to the phone at all.

2 things to try. One this link View Document

2nd is going to be uninstall Desktop manager and then reinstall

The no profile thing is normal, it means you don't have a outlook profile setup for your desktop manager to link up to your email.

Onto the app error. A few things to try:

- Plug it into a different USB slot.
- Get JL_Commander and manually do a wipe with that, a full fled wipe via the command prompt. (I'm not sure if BBSak will work the same or not, but I suggest JL_Commander)
- Before uninstalling Desktop Manager see if you can push past the no profile message (I can) and see if DM will detect your phone even if the app loader won't.
- Uninstalling Desktop Manager then Reinstalling it.
- Uninstall the OS then Reinstall it.
