Thread: Time on recieved SMS when phone is off.

I always turn my phone off at night for several reasons. 1 thing that annoys me though, why cant u see the time u recieved an SMS that night ?

Is the only solution to keep my phone on ?

True, but it saves battery turning it off.

The rechargable batteries that come in BB are a great thing! And it time stamps the message from when the BB receives it. If you phone is off all night it doesnt technically recieive the message until you turn your phone on.

...plus, if you plug it in at night while you sleep, it has a fresh charge ready to go in the morning. Been doing that for many years and has saved my bacon a few times.

True, but still, the dimmed screen in bedside mode is kinda bright in a totally dark room.

Does it remain dimmed for you? Mine is going completely dark after a few min, maybe you just need to check your settings...

I have it in charger, dim screen is set to yes in options. But no, it wont go complete dark.

I turn mine upside down because of this and it works good for me.

On your home screen set options/clock/when charging to "do nothing"!

Yep. I have mines set to: "Do Nothing" and now it goes completely dark and doesn't interfere with my Berryslider.
