It worked

But we had the wrong cod's. These where the ones to change the system language on the phone. That works though. But i couldt select swedish as input language. Haha :laugh2:

ok, we are getting closer

I guess, we have missed some important files for input. Let me check this evening again, right now it is a bit difficult.

No problem m8, indeed we are a step closer just gotta find out what files contain the input language now.

Got it, files i needed:

net_rim_tid_dynamic_ling_data_swedish_45k_2
net_rim_tid_dynamic_ling_data_swedish_ltr

Kinda stupid cuz i should have known that Used the ones from the Bold software and its working like a charm

The only thing I am still not sure about is, what files like the following are for:

net_rim_tid_dynamic_transcoding_data_CP1255.cod
net_rim_tid_dynamic_transcoding_data_CP1256.cod

and the like. If you encounter any prob, try to copy them from the Swedish OS 5 release onto your berry as well. The numbers CPxxxx are always different when you compare e.g. an OS with Hebrew, or Russian, or Japanese, ... input.

Hi, i really want to have the swedish input aswell can someone tell me how to make it work, i dont have any of those files in the posts...any help would be appreciated..

Ok, let me summarize:
First download BB MCP here:

• Download it here

Then download this OS and install it on your PC:

• http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/b...n-denmark.html

Then go to the newly installed folder (program files/common files/reseach in motion/shared/loader files/9000-----xxx----5.0.0.411---/java/ and find/copy all the files containing 'sv' (for sverige) and 'Swedish' in the name to a separate folder on your PC. If that is done connect your berry to the PC and open BB MCP. Select the white in blue arrow when connected, select all the cod files in the newly created folder and add them to your berry. Re-boot with a battery pull afterwards and you should be done. Please stay with us here and report any problems you may encounter, so we can guide you through this process if necessary!

I just tried it with the Romanian language files, and it works flawlessly. I can now test all the leaks/hybrids, whether or not it is multi-language. Thank you very much!

i wonder could someone help me to get japanese input?
in my old storm i could hybrid it alright and get the japanese input
in storm 2 i wonder which os that has japanese support? i need the radio file for hybrid it..:hail:
