YouTube app for 9550

Has anyone been able to push the old 9530's YouTube app onto their Storm 2 yet?

I'm talking about: This one

I think if we had an .alx file and the YouTube app files from some one's backup it could be done but I don't know for certain. I've been looking for non Google hosted OTA's but no luck so far. If anyone has a link and doesn't mind sharing it, I would greatly appreciate it.

I stopped using the YouTube App after I completed the Optimization trick using the native browser. I would recommend you do a forum search for "youtube optimization" or "youtube fix" on this forum or CrackBerry.com. Sorry I can't provide the link. I'm doing this reply from my phone.

I've searched but haven't found any thread on both sites of a fix. How do you optimize the quality of the videos?

I also noticed that to with the videos not playing and it sometimes work. I just gave up with it.

I followed the link, found it and it works great on my S2!
