    9550/9520 Help & Assistance Group.

    As to my surprise, there is not a group for BBM that is for our Storm 2 users. I will go ahead and get one going. This group is for us Storm 2 owners, that if you have qestions about software, themes, apps, issues or anything that could possible go wrong or right with your storm 2, this what you want. I know that BBOS offers alot of assistance, but sometimes that isn't quick enough. I figured that we could create a group where if you have issues that need corrected right away, more than likely someone in that group will be able to provide assistance. I have attached the group barcode for everyone to scan into your blackberry device.

    I tried to scan and use the BBM group but it seems am too late.

    Anyway I tried to update my 9520 from 5.0.0.306 to the newer version but it would not accept and showed missing files. Can some one assist why this is happening is it because the beta versions are missing some files.

    Did you use the instructions and files given here in the Forums (installation on PC, deleting vendor.xml, device backups, full wipe, install)? It is quite a large leak (~124 MB) so you can assume, that it is complete.

    Seems like a good idea, but my "invitation" was rejected...said it was too late. What's going on with that?

    Mine came up Joining Failed. If I click on it it says, This invitation has expired or has been used by someone else.

    It is a BBM group that apparently filled up rather quickly. Perhaps we should start another? Maybe 3, 4? LOL

    There is a limit to the amount of users that can scan the bar code for any given group. After so many scans, the barcode becomes invalid. (happened on a group I started). If the group isn't full, you may have to invite people manually to add them.
    Have you ever wondered why things intended to make our lives simpler keep getting more complicated to use?

    The group isent full yet, u should be able to join it yourself.

    If you check options/mobile net - berry button - diagnose - execute - what does it do/tell you?

    OK, have you checked from PC at t-mo for their apn settings? Sorry, I am on Vodafone, so cannot help with your settings, but if I search Vodafone's support site, they are giving me the correct APN settings which have to be entered here: otions - advanced options - TCP/IP
