old bb does not have any apn info

apn : t-mobile epc.tmobile.com already in the storm 2

The guys where i purchase the code to unlock the storm 2 told me that i may have to change the readio frequency to 90 which is t-mobile, but how do I know which freq is on the sroem 2 currently. shrink a os has the info to change freq, but i don,t see it listed. Also they said the the apn : wap.voicestream.com for t-mobile. i tried still not working. I have 1-2 bars only in my area.

If I understand it correctly, this would potentially be possible in the engineering screen section, but you could completely mess your device, so I am not the right one to give advice on this, sorry.
