    Sounds like an IT Policy may be in affect on your device. Just a guess.....We can try and remove it.

    Are you familiar with the program BBSAK.....?

    With this program we can reset your device back to factory spec then we can reload the OS onto your device.

    If this is something you would like to try, be sure to back up all your data on your device including 3rd party app as a factory reset is going to in essence clean everything of of that device.

    you can also try going to advanced options - host routing table and register now on anything that is BOLD

    Took the phone back to verizon. Told them I was having trouble with the buttons so I reinstalled the OS and it was like that when I got done. They said the phone was fried and gave me a brand new one. Saw them take it out of the box. They told me never to reflash a phone, that was the cause of the problem. LOL If they only knew.

    I had the same issue and went through the same steps of wiping my phone, reinstalling the original OS before I gave up and went to Verizon. I waited about an 1.5 while the customer service agent pushed buttons, hung out in the back and then hid on the phone with tech support without giving me any feedback. She explained that she wanted to avoid having to wipe the phone. :aargh4: Had she told me that an hour or so ago I would have told her a) I already did that and b) go for it if you think it would help. I got fed up and left. Called Tech Support and had the issue resolved in about 10 minutes. She said it was something on RIM's side. I didn't understand it, but know if it happens again to just make the call.
