hey guys i just recieved my storm 9550 today, unlocked, but on top keeps saying activation requiered, phone, works good, i have the pin working emails working, evrything its working but i keep getting that msg, ay idea how can i getrid of it?
in that part is where my network should show up instead of the activation required
I think it just wants you to activate it with verizon as well. I don't know how to get rid of that screen the simple way, but probably de-branding would be one of your options. De-branding is illegal and requires special software, but it gets rid of everything vzw related. :)Quote:

From your dial pad type ##000000 send
The second line erase what is there and type your phone number including area code. BB Button and save

Quick question regarding unlocked device. I was a fortunate recipient of a free unlock code for my S1 via the BBOS GOD and community. Is there anyway to transfer or gain the same for my S2?

second line has 10 position. i have 9550 from verizon and i am using phone in Czech Republic (Europe). area code is 00420 or +420.... and 9 number (my phone number).....any idea how to erase activation requred ? thanks a lot
