Thread: Odd Problem - Question Could Use Answer

I just got a new case for my Strom2, and I think it somehow is draining the battery. It is the BlackBerry Leather Horizontal Pouch for Storm 9530, Storm2 9550, Storm2 9520 and I bought it brand new from CB.

Since using the case, my BB Storm battery has been draining at about 8% per hour, when before the battery drain was just fine. I have tried putting the phone in the case with the screen locked, and unlocked.

Could the case somehow be causing a drain on the battery? I like this case very much, but I will return it if this is the problem.

Unless it's preventing your screen from timing out I can't fathom how a case could be causing battery drain.

I would try leaving it out of the case and are if the battery useage goes back to normal. Have you downloaded any thing new
