You are using the same card from the Storm? Did you re-format the card when you put it into the S2?
copy and paste t he files from the 8g to 16g straight from the box on my storm2
Are you running the stock S2 OS?

Make sure if you do that you only restore critical items (i.e. contacts, emails, etc.) and do not restore any media. Format the SD card with the device, then reload the media files. Let us know.Quote:

I transfered my mp4 vids from sd to sd by plugging my bb into comp then c/p from one to the other ! Did you use an sd adapter or plug the phone in and go to my comp and open up f drive?
i plug phone up and went to the f drive c/p and put on computer then formated with bb and the c/p back to sd and im still getting it....i just dont know....
I put mine on that way and no probs plays better than s 1 sorry i couldnt help

I am having the same problem. I also can't record video longer than 30 seconds. I have only had my storm 2 for 2 days. I added files via the computer onto the SDcard but when I play ANY video it stops after about 30 seconds to 1 minute and I have to push play and tap to remove the menu bar. I don't know if this is a hardware problem and I need to take it back. I hate to do that as I just got it customized. I posted on another site but no one seems to know what the problem is.
For your recording problem do you have it set to MMS mode? If so it will not let you record longer than that. try going into the options and changing it to standard.Quote:
