Thread: Storm 2 Issue or BIS

having lots of trouble downloading my vm and apps tonight,... Called verizon they said BIS was being updated and would be down? Anyone else get this?
My phone isn't responding the same it is lagging like whoa~!

BIS has been out most of the day across all the carriers.

Yeah, last night I had no internet/data for most of the evening. Naive maybe, but wouldn't it be nice if they actually sent out an email about a planned network outage or reduction in performance?

They do for "planned" disruptions. All indications are that this wasn't planned.

How is your BIS service this morning?

mine is back up today!!!

Mine is pissing me off, nothing works and if it does it only works for 10 seconds

Verizon in Charlotte, NC

Still slow in Chicago...but working...

Only thing working for me is my browser but all my apps still aren't

Ok I think bis is finally back up.. Thank god for wifi but still had trouble with email and wifi was hard to get to take over with the network down but all is well now.

EDIT: OK mine seems to be working fine now

I just spoke with a tech source at Sprint. They have an open tech ticket (3 weeks open to be exact) regarding nationwide BIS issues. Additional support tickets were issued today regarding the midwest.

Mine in VA seems to be working fine.

Still having issues on mine in MA, works great for a while then just kicks it for a few mins and then back up like nothing ever happened.

I'm also still not getting any BIS coverage in MA on my storm 2 for the third day straight.... how has your service been today??

Service has been spotty all over from what I understand.

It's actually been pretty normal here in the Pacific NW today. Totally for s*#t the prior 36 hours, tho.
