9520 better GSM reception than 9550?

Hi Guys,

I am currently having a 9530 and want to buy a new S2. I only use my phone as a GSM device.
My question is if the radio reception will be better for GSM on the 9520 than the 9550?

The 9500 & 9530 had different processors and the 9500 were always more expensive. Therefore, I am not sure which model I should buy, as i can get a 9550 cheaper than a 9520 at the moment.

If you only plan to use the GSM side of the phone, I would probably recommend the 9520. Reason for that being is 9520 sfi is specific for GSM bands and less chance to get errors or reception issues. In the CDMA/GSM version of storm, people on t-mobile, for example, were having issues of "no circuit available" errors and many are unable to make phone calls or use other features of the phone. I would stick with GSM only, unless you plan to be on vzw or another CDMA carrier that has storm. :)

+1 on oltas statement your best bet is the 9520 for that matter

Just bought a 9550. Tried to bid on an ebay auction and won. i guess i own a 9550 now. At least there will be more hybrids & leaks available for it than the 9520 ;-)

Let's hope it was the right decision....
