Thread: What case do you use?

OK, I need to get a case before I drop this thing and it breaks.

I want to get the outterbox commuter case but not sure if I should wait for a seidio case or one of those feather cases?

I had a hybrid seidio case for my storm one and liked it until the corner peice snapped off.

Soooo should I get the commuter case or wait for some other products? I don't want any of those vzn skins

I would get the Seidio case!!!

any idea when their going to hit the market?

I use the standard rubber casing for mine. Seems to hold up pretty well and keeps the size of the phone to a minimum.

Thats what I like about the Incipio dermaShot rubbercase. It keeps the size to a minimun and my phone fits in the cradle without removing it. I'm using
the one I had for my Storm1 right now because I don't think they make one
for the Storm2 yet. It still fits fine, just a couple extra cutouts. I'll definitely get one when they email me and tell me they have them for the Storm2. Check them out.

Hows the thickness of it. I don't want anything thats bulky. I would like it to fit in my cradle while still in the case.

I'm patiently waiting for the incipio feather. I emailed like a week ago and they said ~2 weeks. So that means hopefully one week to go.

I should have it today and will let you know. I'll probably get a backup case like the feather or siedio but for now it's the commuter

That's exactly the case I want!!! I hope they hurry and offer a 9550 case!

my verizon store had one nearly identical to the incipio feather I had on my S1 in the store when I purchased the phone. It is a little bit more flexible then the incipio but built the same and functions the same. I would say I like it a little more because the corners do not break on it like the incipio case I had for my S1. I picked it up for like 12 bucks.

Got my Otterbox Commuter case today and it is awesome. Completely covers the phone without all the bulk. Slips in and out of my pocket with ease. One thing that was wrong was there was a little dimple on the screen protector. I emailed their support and asked if they would send me a new screen protector and they shipped a whole new case. I couldn't believe it, that is what you call support. I think I'm going to order one for my daughters Storm1, she loves mine.

I'm starting to have random problems with the bottom buttons. I only just noticed this since putting on the Commuter case. Doesn't seem to be as bad when I take off the case. Are you noticing anything like that with your commuter on your phone? Maybe it's just time for a trip to Verizon.

Now I'm starting to wonder if it is the full screen protector that my be causing the problem with the bottom buttons because I took the rubber case off and I'm still having random problems. The one I had on it was the verizon ones that just covered the screen, not the bottom buttons and they worked fine. Anyone else have this problem?

I not only gave up waiting for Seidio, I am no longer going to wait for them to launch any Storm2 products. I chose the OtterBox Communter.

I find it laughable that Seidio can have Bold 9700 products out within a week of launch and still no word on te\he 9520/9550 products. I vote with my money and that speaks loud enough for me.

I bet you will really like the Otterbox better than the Seidio. The only thing about the Otterbox is the screen protector. It comes all the way down to cover the bottom buttons. I found out that mine didn't like the buttons covered. They wouldn't work randomly. I thought my phone was messed up so I took it off just to try it and no more issues. Verizon screen protectors don't cover the buttons so maybe they knew something. I just use them. I may try another brand that covers them if someone tells me one they have that work.
