    question about device backup??

So last week I got the S2. I did NOT do the device switch wizard in DM. I did activate BES so my contacts did restore via that sync. My question is things like sound profiles and auto power off remained as they were from my S1. How is that possible? Does the 9550 pull 9530 backup files that are existing on the computer?

There is a loader history file located in hidden files and typically it will pull you last load. It will not typically keep any data such as contacts and messages but it can store device settings from your last load.

Is it in a standard place so I can delete it? I think something on there is making the small icon issue I have been having. I want to wipe and reload but don't want that backup file loading.

    Thanks for the response BBC.
