Thread: A repetitive vibrate tone

I only use vibrate. Cause mainly i dont want ppl to know im getting texts or calls or whatever when im at work. Is there any thing that can make a repetitive vib so i can distinguish it from the other vibs?

You can set to vibrate 1, 2, or 3 times to help you distinguish one notification from another. You can also use an app like BerryBuzz to have different color LED flashing for each different type. Unless you're on a high 5.0 build in which case BB doesn't work

Can you set it to multiple vibes on the 8330? I didn't think that was possible?

I am running 5.0.0.191 for the Tour and use BerryBuzz fine, thats how I use to distinguish everything. Does it not work on the Bold?

I dont believe you have that option on an 8330, I do believe there is a program you can buy that will get you the results you want..

If its not stock then i'll just deal with it til i go on a tour.

No prob bocaccio. The Tour will do this right out of the box

The curve does it too. Set my sms and calls to 3 vibrates. Don't mean I won't get a tour though,

i don't know if you would be interested in it or not but i have a tone that sounds like a vib...it's not any louder than the actual vib that you get from your phone...of course you can adjust the volume on it too. let me know if you're interested and if you are i'll look it up for you and post it tonight.
