The Q10 has an OLED screen which are generally very bright and vivid, the Z10 doesn't. I imagine that there are a number of reasons why the Q10 has the OLED and the Z10 does not, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the Z10 still has very nice screen quality. The resolution and PPI are higher on the Z10. Plus with the larger screensize it's easier to visualize images and video.

I'm a little nervous about that Z10 now after watching Mashable's drop test. Especially in my field. Case or no case it's weakest point is the fact the glass is not Gorilla glass. I'm no big tech when it comes to the hardware of phones but does the higher pixel density and type of glass relate. Does the Q10 utlize Gorilla Glass therefore the lower pixel density causing the the need for an OLED display?

My guess is that the Q10 will be more geared for those who rely on their phone for work and those who do a lot more texting in general. The AMOLED display coupled with the higher 2100 mAh battery will ensure that the battery life will be stellar on the Q10.

I do have to add, after palying with the Z10 today, the screen is VERY clear, but not vivid. Pictures are not "vivid".

I am excited to see what the Q10 will look like - hopefully more VIVID!

Gorilla Glass sucks by the way. Pretty much anything that u dropped in concrete that has a touchscreen will break like that.

I've dropped my Z10 numerous times with a case on and not even a scratch on it. I've even dropped it on the street on asphalt, and still nothing.

Hi friendlyguest, Oled screens have vivid colours/ deep contrast and consume little power, the down side is white colour it causes maximum power drain,
so surfing the web will drain battery fast, the Z10 will be used for videos and internet more than Q10 and LCD uses less power than OLED otherwise Z10 would need a
battery at least twice its present size, Q10 owners may do less web/videos than Z10 and should have a long run time between charges,
OLED screens colour will over time slowly degrade and have a short lifespan compared to LCD, thats why TVs are LCD/ LED, but phone screens are only on for short periods
so not a problem, (i have a four year old Nokia with a large OLED screen and it eats the battery, used daily and still looks as new)
