Help - Problems after PlayBook update 2.1.0.1526

I downloaded the latest update for my playbook (2.1.0.1526 ) and now I can not open any email attachments, my browser is MUCH slower, sites i used to frequent are crashing on me (tested on several different wi-fi networks same problem on all of them) and there is a considerable lag when I type. Any ideas? Can I just go back to the last OS before the update and if so, how?

Do a security wipe . It should bring you back to last os used or original. This sucks though because you because you have to reload all your apps, email info etc. Had to do this once before. You may want to first get rid of your older 3rd party apps as they may be incompatible. Wipe as a last resort.

I've noticed the keyboard issue that you speak of but not the browser problems, I've also suffered screen freezes too where the touch screen no longer responds so I have to reboot, luckily I did a back up before each software update just in case. Luckily BlackBerry are normally pretty good so I don't have to use it

I've had some issues with the keyboard that was not pressing what I wanted, probably due to bad location info from the touch screen, occurring when the PB is connected to the PC. I did a reinstall of the OS , with a prior backup, and apparently things are back to normal

Also experienced problems. The update was performed automatically when I connected the PB to the BB Desktop. Location at the time was Indonesia. The result was the PB was automatically 'unbricked' and lost all content and aps. After being given a new PB 4G LTE, it is not possible to transfer the user data (Contacts, re-installed aps and documents and info) onto the new 4G unit because it is not .1526. BBRY Helpdesk says tough buns. No 'backwards' compatible user data copying allowed. I tried getting the update to get the 4G LTE the .1526 version (even if it locks and then unbricks it as a blank) but not available. Am stuck, starting over again. Hacks welcome.

I haven't had any problems with this version. Perhaps you can try reinstalling it?
