How big is the file and how long does it hang for?
You may want to try and reboot your PlayBook and try loading the file again.
Or, the file may be corrupt. Try downloading it again, or try it on your Desktop computer to see if it loads.

Hello Jinksy! I've read about certain types of PDF files not being able to open with the Adobe app. I haven't experienced it myself so I'm not sure what the specifics are about that. Definitely try Joe's suggestion and restart your Playbook. Have a great day and please post back with what you find out!

I have tried rebooting and using my desktop, it will open OK on the destktop but even when I reboot same thing happens, just hangs there. Most of the adobe files I find the problem with is on globeinvestor.com Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming Thanks Jinksy
Hi Jinksy, why don't you give QPDF a try. I find I can open files that adobe doesn't open for me. It's free in BlackBerry world and worth a try. I use if frequently for pdf's that need to bookmark.
