Angry when will Blackberry playbook have third party apps?

i recently received the playbook 64gb as a Christmas present, i was very happy to have a tablet, only to be disappointed there are hardly any apps, like instagram, skype, tumblr? and i keep finding forums with how to side load options, its frustrating, having to constantly try and google options, why cant the playbook offer such simple services, am already hating my present when i only got it a few hours ago. anyone with advice help? coz am thinking of selling it and saving up for an iPad.

    1. If someone gives you something do you sell it? NO
    2. Sideloading is very easy you just need Google Chrome plug-in or DDPB Installer
    3. Instagram is currently being testing for BB10
    4. Patience
    5. I wouldnt mind the PlayBook if you dont like it, its the worlds best tablet

There are quite a few app within App World, just take some time to go browse through it. I would also recommend that you take a look at our List Of Working PlayBook BAR Files, you will need to sideload those apps, but we have some nice directions on http://www.blackberryos.com/playbook...-os-2-0-a.html . If you need any help just post back here and we will do our best to help you.

Just saw a post saying that Netflix (app) will be available for BB10. I assume that means for our Playbooks as well.
    BB then, now, forever!

Do you have a BlackBerry phone. If you don't you really can't appreciate the full functionality of them together. I hope you at least have the 4g version and not the wifi only. If you have no patience to wait for those third party apps and if that's really what's important to you in a tablet. Just another expensive toy then you should sell it. The playbook is a tool that I use everyday to keep myself organized and functioning like a well oiled machine. It's a niche of creative developers bringing their ideas to community that is more than willing to share . Not the norm. So be Bold . Be different . Be BlackBerry.

I really neat app is in beta for tumblr right now, its called Trapeez from Kisai Labs. Its very neat, and should hopefully be out soon. To be honest, I don't use instagram or skype and don't have any need to use those two, but in time I'm sure more apps will make their way over to the PlayBook once, BlackBerry 10 is launched. The PlayBook has made a huge stride in amazing apps coming over in the past year, so with BlackBerry 10, things can only get better.

www.faceflow.com is a cross o/s programme that offers the same as skype but with the added bonus of conference calls. The programme is free and can be accessed though your browser. Both need to join, as in skype. Playbook to PC, Android, iphone. PC, Android, iphone to Playbook. The developers regularly post updates and it would appear that there will soon be an app for all the platforms.
