Thread: twitter App

Is there a twitter App for playbook that can stay logged on unlike this one I have, it takes me online and shows a signing in page all the time and doesn't have notifications or setting something like that

Nope don't stress I have it now just downloaded a twitter bar file and side loaded it and it works fine the way I wanted it except the notification part.

I think I've tried them all and have settled on using Blaq for a while now. It has kept me logged in, has notifications (very cool) and doesn't send me to the website when I click on a tweet or a photo. I'm not a big Tweethead, so I use it to keep up on news about my first love: BlackBerry.

Please don't tell my wife about the "first love" comment......she just doesn't appreciate my enthusiasm for everything BlackBerry.

Is there any plans for a native Twitter app on PlayBook if BB10 does come to PlayBook will the native apps come too?

That's a good question. I assume that since BB10 is all about integration, that when the PlayBook gets the update that it will have the same goodness as the Smartphone version.

Will the update come with java installed, and the ability to install apps like firefox and so on? That would be lovely and gr8

That would be sweet if that happens I do like using Blaq but I am a T4BB loyalist would love to have a app for Playbook

I think once we get java on playbook everything will be fine there will be more apps for the tablet
